Martin Percival has been involved in the training and development industry since 2001. Prior to that, following a degree in finance and organisational behaviour, his experience was developed through the financial field, IT, marketing and finally sales and sales management.
Martin’s sales experience was developed on top of his financial, technical and marketing background and led to him running the corporate sales function of a Major European Airline, looking after a team of national account managers and revenue in excess of 50 Million pounds. During his 6 years with the airline, growth consistently exceeded 30% annually. During his period as Corporate Sales Manager, revenue growth through the sales department grew by 240%.
In 2000 Martin left the UK to emigrate to NZ with his wife.
In 2001 Martin joined AchieveGlobal in Auckland as a performance consultant. After two years he was running the company and after a further 2 years he bought the business from the then owner. Since that time the business has developed and the customer portfolio now includes many of NZ’s major companies.
In his current role, Martin partners many of New Zealand’s leading businesses in the development of their sales, service and leadership teams, processes and strategies. His role encompasses elements such as advising clients on their capability requirements, training effectiveness, coaching and workshop design and build.
